I’m a writer and editor with nearly two decades of experience. I’m also a former private investigator and a seasoned treasure hunter; I’ve worked everywhere from a high-powered crisis management firm to a steel manufacturing plant. I grew up in Ohio, spent my 20s in New York City, got married in the Mojave and now live in Pasadena, California with my wife and two children.
Wikipedia is something I fell into. I first edited a page for a friend, then continued making edits. At some point I mentioned this to a client and they became more interested in my Wikipedia capabilities than the original assignment. Before long the majority of new inquiries I received were for Wikipedia projects.
Me and my family (with a cactus standing in for the youngest)

As for ghost writing, I’ve got a good ear for capturing and editing other people’s stories in their voice. I also have experience writing marketing and website copy, as well as editing educational books. I’ve also written and edited countless works of fiction by myself and others.
What else? I love hardboiled fiction and film noir. Some of my favorites are Kiss Me Deadly, Detour, and Sunset Boulevard. I also try my hand at gardening, and I’ve been riding a bike more these days.

I did not find the aforementioned treasure, but I witnessed some beautiful country in the process. I love exploring the great outdoors, especially desert ruins and oddities. I look forward to the day my children are old enough for a family camping trip.
